Die Datejust kam 1945 auf den Markt — als erste Armbanduhr mit automatisch wechselndem Datum im Fenster, ein Meilenstein der Uhrmacherei. Dieses Exemplar der Referenz 16220 stammt aus dem Jahr 1990: Edelstahlgehäuse im klassischen 36-mm-Format, graues Zifferblatt mit Diamant-Indizes, Saphirglas und das eigens für die Datejust entworfene Jubilee-Band aus Edelstahl. Im Inneren arbeitet das Automatik-Kaliber 3135, bis heute eines der robustesten seiner Art.
Die Uhr wird vollständig mit Originalbox und Papieren geliefert.
The Datejust launched in 1945 as the first wristwatch to show an automatically changing date in a window — a milestone in watchmaking. This example of reference 16220 dates from 1990: a stainless steel case in the classic 36 mm format, a grey dial with diamond-set hour markers, sapphire crystal and the Jubilee bracelet designed specifically for the Datejust. Inside beats the calibre 3135, still one of the most robust automatic movements ever made.
The watch comes complete with its original box and papers.
